We are thrilled to announce that Dan Hudner has joined the Causal Design team as our Director of Research. Dan joins us from Mercy Corps where he has served as the Peacebuilding Evaluation Fellow and co-authored research on disaster resilience with Jon Kurtz.
Dan combines his expertise in evaluation techniques with experience managing development projects to create products that are both rigorous and accessible. He is particularly interested in community resilience to disasters and conflict management programs, with a regional focus on the Middle East and Sahel. He holds a masters in international development from Johns Hopkins SAIS, and a BA in economics from Brown University. Dan has conducted studies with Mercy Corps, managed economic and community development projects with the African Development Foundation, and led capacity-building trainings as a Peace Corps volunteer in Morocco.
Dan will immediately take over as the Principal Investigator for our RCT in Cambodia with iDE, be the Co-Investigator on our Research on DRR in Nepal & Timor Leste with Reimar, and begin to orient himself to our other ongoing projects.
